You are out of your mind. He was a proponent of open borders in North America.
There is also no evidence at all he regretted the amnesty.. https://www.azcentral.com/story/news/p ... ty-law-did-he/1089297001/ It's right wing bullshit.

Yvonne, Reagan believed in immigration and signed an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.
You need to argue based on reality, not just make shit up.

People have to fix the problems in their own country, escaping solves nothing. We allowed Cubans to escape and Cuba is still a horrible country. When Poland was going through its political problems in the 1980s, President Reagan closed the US borders. They could not escape and the Polish people had no choice but to stand up to the former Soviet Union. I is now a free country. But the bottom line - Americans are living on the streets while much of the affordable housing are filled up with foreign nationals, I learned this when I did voter registration in the 1990s and found foreign nationals from various countries living in tax abated buildings. This is probably why the Dems fought to keep the question of citizenship off the census. They want to keep the public stupid.

You would get your news from the dregs of the Internet.
That nutty paragraph has nothing to do with the fact that NY should not be exporting people. They should be taking care of their own homeless. The state is wealthy. Not everything is about your crazypants need to link everything to property taxes, and now complaints about income taxes needing to be paid.

How do I know who is legit and who is just gaming the system? The bottom line, people go to council meetings all the time and complain they cannot find housing, basically, government is allowing citizens to compete for housing against immigrants. And government is placing liens on homes to pay for more services. 8,000 liens were listed by this municipal government in early December. Plus if you do not pay for IRS taxes, you go to prison. There is a cost to immigration. According to One America News, $265 billion is what this country has spend on illegal immigration, alone.

That is not our own states exporting their problems to others. Refugees leave their countries to escape persecution.
You should be ashamed of making that comparison.

But in the meanwhile, seven Democrat governors of Kansas, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington have approved more refugee resettlement in their local communities. An additional three GOP governors, Doug Ducey of Arizona, Doug Burgum of North Dakota, and Gary Herbert of Utah have approved refugee resettlement in their states as well. So how is that different?

Comrade Wilhelm won?t let NYC employees travel to North Carolina over its bathroom gender rules, but he doesn?t mind shipping his homeless problems there!

Jersey City joins Newark in suing de Blasio?s homeless relocation plan
By Nolan Hicks and Julia Marsh December 17, 2019 | 6:31pm Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop announced Tuesday his city is joining a federal lawsuit challenging a de Blasio administration program that pays for working-class homeless New Yorkers to move across the Hudson River. Fulop made the announcement as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio laid out a new $100 million a year effort to tackle the street homelessness in the five boroughs ? one of the most visible symptoms of New York?s housing shortage. ?Meanwhile? we?re joining onto the lawsuit from Newark against NYC for pushing their homeless population to NJ cities (including JC without communicating anything or providing proper support,? Fulop wrote on Twitter, linking back to a live feed of de Blasio?s announcement. ?That @NYCMayor plan is not solving the problem that is abdicating the responsibility.? More - NY Post
