is $40 - $50 then the going rate for a small-ish live tree? i havent purchased one in ages but looking to buy one tomorrow. i went to home depot in JC and they were about $50 for a 5' tree.

440 Farms across from the Hudson Mall has a sign up for trees $39.99 and up.

The pop up tree stand on rt 440 between Burger King and Dunkin Donuts in the Lowes / Party City / Mavis Tire parking lot has a sign up for trees $49.99. (gee I remember when they were $19.99)

I always like a real tree. Going to cut one down on Saturday.

Put away those Thanksgiving decorations and make room for your Christmas tree, because the clock is ticking on the holidays season.

Some were ready to put up their tree just two days after Thanksgiving, and before the calendar turned to December. The real trees were outselling the fakes at two lots visited Saturday afternoon.

If you want that tree to last well past Dec. 25, there is some maintenance you should be performing, a couple of the tree sellers say.
