There were non-life threatening injuries reported in a shooting that occurred overnight in Jersey City. The shooting happened in the 200 block of York Street shortly before 4:45 a.m. sending police to the scene where they found a male victim struck in the ankle by gunfire. Police setup a crime scene while EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where he received treatment for his injuries. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
