When this happened in June/July with construction on Grand, the construction company was required to clean up the neighborhood with industrial vacuum cleaners. I invited them into my courtyard and up the stairs as they were cleaning my street.
Complain to RRC and council members. They were on it the last time it happened.

The construction workers were out on Newark with leaf blowers (I assume) to try to contain the styrofoam a few days ago. Didn't seem to work. I noticed it again this morning, on the other side of the street, further up Newark.

I would submit a complaint on RRC under Construction, but I've had no success with filing complaints about the styrofoam pollution. I wonder how much winds up in the ocean every year.

The surrounding blocks are covered in this white styrofoam type material from construction yard. The raw material is visible behind the fence. It's all over the cars and sidewalks, and is visible as far as 3rd St. It's going in the sewers with the rain. Which city department would be responsible for this?
