Plans unveiled for new Journal Square towersBy JERSEY CITY -- Coming soon to Journal Square: residential towers courtesy of someone not named Kushner. The Harwood family is planning two high-rises, one 55 stories and the other 49, with 1,200 units total, plus 6,000 square feet of retail space. The project will also include a black-box theater, a museum and exhibition space and a re-imagined pedestrian walkway leading to Kennedy Boulevard. The project, dubbed 808 Pavonia Ave., is planned for a roughly 2-acre area behind the Landmark Loew's Jersey Theatre, on the current site of a parking deck and lots owned by the Harwoods. http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... d_for_journal_square.html
