I would have liked to think that our (Civic JC) work for over the past dozen years is not summarized by what you chose to bring attention to.

What is Civic JC and what is its role in Jersey City these days? Is it, as one member of the nonprofit's executive board member suggests, "??a local version of Common Cause"? Common Cause being?? a national not-for-profit and "??nonpartisan"?? entity that says it promotes democracy.
