Try Craigslist. There's a big market for used BMW parts, so somebody might buy it to chop it up.

You could try CarCash, the closest locations are West 55th Street and also Hasbrouck Heights.
Go to their website, www.carcash.com, fill out some information about your car, and you will be emailed an instant quote showing an estimate on how much they will give you for the car.

The title says it all. 2006 BMW 530xi, 186,000 miles, slipping torque converter (car vibrates at acceleration), radio not working, side skirt missing. Other than that the car is tip-top... ;)... May be only good for parts, I don't know. I would donate, but IRS changed the rules a few years back to less favorable, so I prefer to sell it. Any advice as to where to go?
