The mayor said crime is down. It is called SmackDonalds at the Hub where the new city hall annex will be built. This two minute video has additional footage from the town hall meeting.

How was the turnout size, given the zero notice?

Between 70 to 100, people started to call neighbors and post info on Facebook. A lot more would have appeared if posted.

It's a perfect plan, if you want to avoid people turning up and asking why their ward is getting screwed on their property taxes.

Seems to me that posting on a single social-media site isn't the same as "informing" your constituents.

Joan Terrell informed me she found out by calling the aide to Diane Coleman. Fulop has said at different meetings all of these meetings are open up to the public. So if you missed your ward, you can attend another ward. How was the public know there was a meeting tonight unless it is advertised by his office?

So could have Diane Coleman done, but she's GOT to the be THE most ineffective, do-nothing councilperson here in my 30 years living here in JC. She only shows up when there's a photo-op with her standing next to the Mayor.

I just found out the town hall meeting for Ward F will be at Bethune Center at 7:00 PM Monday, March 14th, tonight. This is the first time there has been no public notice, why? If Fulop can send an email about supporting $15.00, he could have sent an email about this town hall meeting.
