Actually if it were Healy I would have done the same thing. Shrugged and said "clean up your book keeping." Especially given that Healy had been mayor full time and wouldn't be maintaining an IOLTA trust account.

This happens to hundreds of attorneys a year in New Jersey and is an administrative matter that has to be cleaned up.

I suggest you ask Kopko, but regarding Chiaravalloti, that does have a paper trail. The title here is - Kopko says Chiaravalloti practiced law without a license, so let's stick with the subject.

The truth is the truth, regardless how anyone can package this. There is a 31st candidate running for public office with a problem with his law license. He also works for a politically connected law firm that receives deals from JC. Wasn't Fulop the candidate who said he was going to clean up city hall? I still remember Fulop saying he was not going to vote to appoint Ray Velasquez to the bench due to the cronyism of Healy. Now a few years later, something that is worse is called "fictitious scenario." Wow, people here really drank the Kool-Aid.

Whatever happened to Kopko's fictitious claim of being threatened? Did he follow up on the police report or did the police let him get away with filing a false report?

Sorry, Yvonne. Your love for guy that is a fraud is telling.

New Jersey State Bar Association

There you go. You and your new obsession can report him there. Sad you are wasting your twilight years on what are ultimately fruitless effort after fruitless effort.

Nice strawman. Did you come up with this fictitious scenario all on your own or did you ask for help with it?

This is weak.

Chiaravalotti was on a list of several attorneys who were administratively suspended for failing to maintain appropriate trust accounts to hold client funds. NJ, like several states, requires that such escrow or trust accounts be set up to provide that the small amount of interest earned thereon go to legal services projects.

The list is here.

http://hudsoncountyview.com/wp-conten ... 2015/10/Court-order-1.pdf

There are hundreds of attorneys on the list. It's sloppy bookkeeping by him or his firm but nothing beyond that. It's basically a tap on the shoulder from the bar saying "get your account set up properly."

I'm not even sure if Chiaravalotti was actively practicing at the time.

Kopko knows this is a non issue but keeps fishing for something hoping it will lead to something else.

Kopko also says that near 60 year old man threatened him. I have a very hard time taking anything he says seriously...
