I don't know if they have moved or will be moving shortly, but I know that their move was occurring around this time. I doubt that the building was sold.

I see they took down the Shelly's sign last week, does anyone know if the building has been sold? Would love to see something new move in.

Walked in this place once, and walk out. I found it gross, and not very clean at all.

What a shame! Shelly's was a little unprepossessing in appearance, but it had a good selection of staples, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was a huge convenience to those of us south of Montgomery. Shopping at C-Town on Bergen takes me 45 minutes to an hour round-trip. I'll miss Shelly's.

Thanks heights. Wow, that's rotten. I didn't realize they were hit that badly by the storm, I guess they had to throw out so much stuff due to the lack of power for a week that they decided to pack it in? I live nearby and we didn't have bad flooding or anything. Do you know the specifics?

Yep closed for good the storm did them in. They are just doing wholesale meats for now.

Fellow McGinley Square neighbors - does anyone know if Shelly's Market is closed for good? They had a small sign after the storm that they were closed for renovation or something, but I saw a big "Space Available" sign go up there the other day.
