Chickpea just opened at the Journal Square Transit Center. Offers Mediterranean-style food. Always baked. Never fried.
I had the falafel pocket, a fancy name for falafel in pita bread. It comes in a wax paper bag inside a box. The bread breaks up though. Pocket is $5.95. Water is $1.25. You won't find the McDonald's crowd here. My coworkers abandoned me and went to Popeye's. They prefer fried, not baked. No tables. Just some stools by the window. I prefer Gypsy Grill. http://www.getchickpea.com/ http://www.nj.com/hudson/index.ssf/20 ... _transp.html#incart_river http://newjersey.news12.com/news/new- ... journal-square-1.10626461
