This dude now qualifies to work for the Jersey City Incinerator Authority, or does he work there already?

A Jersey City man has been charged with smashing a car window and stealing a GPS inside the car worth $100, according to police.

At 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a First Street address on the report of a burglary to a car, according to a police report.

Upon arrival, officers found a silver Toyota Corolla with the front driver's side window smashed, the report stated. A witness told them that she heard a loud noise outside of her apartment and saw a man -- later identified as Enrique Ramirez, 42, of Marin Boulevard -- leaning into the Corolla.

From her apartment window, the witness started taking a video of Ramirez, she told police. She said she asked him -- while still using her phone to record video -- "What did you take from the car?"

Ramirez looked up at her, and then walked away at a fast pace west on First Street toward Jersey Avenue, she told police.
