For comparison sake, from the grove path to the Foundry on Communipaw : Stinky white JC taxi - 8 with tip (about 1.50) though sometimes the meter ran fast Uber - now 5 - used to be 6 and change (includes tip) Lyft - same as stinky white cab, though infinitely nicer

Uber is great but the cheapest taxi in JC in my opinion is A-1 Carma. The last time I took them it was $8 from GV to Hoboken

Hello everyone, I was wondering the cheap rate taxi service around in Jersey City? I live around West Side Ave and want to go down into Communipaw Ave. I really don't want to take the bus or light rail. Thank you
