This is not an alleged thief. They have irrefutable proof through video camera footage.

An unidentified man has allegedly been stealing tip and donation jars from numerous businesses in Downtown Jersey City, and one store says it has him on tape. Torico's Ice Cream, located at 20 Erie St., posted a video to Facebook yesterday showing security camera footage of a man stealing a tip jar from the parlor on Tuesday at 9:42 p.m. In the footage, the man stands near the register and reaches around the parlor's front counter to grab the tip jar.
