it's a great building, old but well built unlike some of the new paper thin constructions. if your unit has leak due to sandy etc..just talk to management they will get it resolved. I havent noticed any issues with mine.

My only complaint is it doesnt have washer/dryer in the units, but cant beat the value / commute. I am paying 50% less in condo fees + taxes each month vs the same 1br in newport, and get 150sqf more.

I am an owner there and it is a great building.I never heard of any damage from Sandy other then no heat for a week like most buildings and we now of a huge generator in case it happens again.Almost all units are owned with some being sublet-ted.There are some cracks in brick work in different spots which are being attended to which may take some time as it is a large building.Otherw ise it is a nice clean friendly building with brand new reck room in basement. Also because it is an older building the rooms are quite large compared to new construction buildings.

I did visit 10 Huron St. and was impressed how thick the walls are. The building is solid compared to other construction.

be careful with the whole complex due to >50% rental ratio. This will cause problem to owners in the future.

I am surprised to hear this, I live near that complex and received no water damage and I am at a lower elevation. I do know St. John's complex in which 10 Huron is part of, did have its lights off for nearly 2 weeks. I should say, there was no flooding in that area instead of water damage.

I am looking to purchase a condo in 10 Huron Ave. I have noticed damage that was explained to be from Sandy. Has anyone had any issues there from Sandy that have not yet been resolved? Has the Management company been forthcoming with problems and solutions?
