I don't know one in Downtown but I go to Palisade Behavioral Care on Palisade Ave not far past Christ Hospital and see Dr. Cunningham, who I like a lot and who has been my Dr. for 1.5 years. The other doctor there who I have seen and like is Dr. Shah, but I believe that she is leaving the practice. They take most insurance. I have Cigna and they are in network for me.

I got the following rec for a friend: Dr. Leonie Johnson-Sena, the psychiatrist that IPG (institute for Personal Growth) uses most often. All of her contact information is in there: she has an office in JC as well as NYC.

I know this was asked on here recently, but I can't seem to find the post...can anyone recommend a psychiatrist in the downtown JC area? Preferably one that takes United Healthcare/ Oxford insurance. private messages welcome.
