Alma's Fabrics on Zabriskie (off of Central) sells buttons too. BTW this is also a great place for custom clothing...I have taken many skirts and dresses to Alma and had them copied for a really good price.

Amusingly, the two places in DTJC I would look are CH Martin and Decarlos, the bespoke tailor on Monmouth. Pretty sure I will never mention both places in the same sentence ever again.

I think there's a notions place on the N side of Montgomery just W of Bergen. Never been in but drive past often. Other than that Walmart. RIP Woolworth's.
