Glass, Italian pottery, specialty gifts for the holidays, jewelry, candelabras, wine paraphernalia....The owner said he will shift away from "gifts" in January.

What is their specialty ... looks like it's mostly glass items?

That space has had about 4 businesses there in 7 years. Seems a bit niche, but I certainly wish them luck.

Between this new store and 2 Stix & a String, I'm shopping locally this year! I walked by Dall'Italia a few times over the last few weeks, wondering who would be bold enough to open a fancy home goods store HERE....and thinking he'd never survive. I went in to browse, plannig to buy one item to support a new local business. By the time I left....one very large shopping bag.

If you're in the neighborhood, check it out for holiday gifts ... and something for yourself. The prices are very reasonable and the store is lovely.

I get nothing for recommending this store, except maybe the hope that another small business survives on Jersey Avenue.
