I think you are pretty much stuck with the Oreck stores. The closest one is in northern Bergen county. I tried to get my carpet shampoo machine serviced. I basically got told to buy a new unit.. or one of their new 'dry clean' carpet machines.
I ended up disassembling the unit myself, located a new pump online from a non-Oreck source, and the unit has never worked better.
