A Jersey City woman who woke to see a man standing above her holding a knife and a bottle of wine ran to her bathroom and jumped out a window to get away yesterday, officials said.
Rachin Fields, 25, of Staten Island, was arrested after the 2:38 a.m. incident on Princeton Avenue and he was charged with burglary, theft, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of burglary tools, police reports said. The victim said after jumping out her first-floor window she ran up and down the block calling for help, reports said. Police found a bucket and cinder blocks beneath a window with a torn screen, reports said. Police were able to use the victim's cellphone to track the burglar to a nearby area, where they spotted Fields, who fit the description provided by the victim, cops said. Fields had a knife and items belonging to the victim on him, cops said.JJ
