Jersey City man entering his home is robbed at gunpoint, cops say

A Jersey City man walking into his apartment building in the Heights early this morning was held up at gunpoint, police reports said.

The 59-year-old Kennedy Boulevard resident had just arrived home at 12:30 this morning when he was pushed into the vestibule of the building by a man dressed in black and wearing a black mask, reports said.

The assailant pulled out a black handgun and demanded all the victim's money. The victim gave him $25 and the robber, who was described as 5-foot-10 with a thin build, then fled.
