View Larger Map Jersey City man slashed while being robbed by two juveniles on Duncan Avenue By Charles Hack/The Jersey Journal An intoxicated Jersey City man was slashed with a box cutter during a robbery committed by two juveniles Sunday evening, police reports said. When police interviewed the 50-year-old Olean Avenue resident at the Jersey City Medical Center, he told them two boys approached him on Duncan Avenue about 7 p.m. and asked him if he wanted to buy drugs, reports said. When he said no, one of the boys punched him on the right side of his face and the other slashed his left elbow with the box cutter, reports said. The man, who told police he had been drinking, was treated for a 3-inch cut to his arm, reports said. One of the boys reached into his pocket and fled with his wallet. Reports did not state what the wallet contained.
