Three people killed in Jersey City in early morning shootings

It was a deadly morning in Jersey City, with three homicides, Jersey City police confirmed.

A total of three people were shot dead in three separate incidents in a 3-and-a-half-hour period.

A man was shot dead at the intersection of Ocean and Orient avenues at 12:05 a.m.; an hour later, a person was killed on Rutgers Avenue and at 3:40 a.m., there was a shooting death at the corner of Tonnelle Avenue and Manhattan Avenue.
