View Larger Map Shot outside King Drive bar, didn't see shooter Saturday, April 23, 2011 A 24-year-old Jersey City man was shot outside a bar on Martin Luther King Drive early yesterday morning, then ran about two blocks to Monticello Avenue, where he called for help, police said. The man told police he was outside the bar sometime before 1:30 a.m. when he heard a loud noise and felt a pain in his leg, police said. He knew he was shot but did not see who shot him, police said. He ran away and was down on Monticello Avenue with a non-life-threatening wound to his right thigh when police arrived, reports said. He was taken by ambulance to Jersey City Medical Center, police said. Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call the Jersey City police tip line at (201) 547-JAIL.
