View Larger Map Man, 21, is stabbed near Heights bar Monday, October 25, 2010 A man was stabbed in the chest outside a Jersey City Heights bar just past midnight Saturday night, police reports said. Called to the bar on Manhattan Avenue near Liberty Avenue at 12:01 a.m. on the report of stabbing, police saw the 21-year-old Troy Street victim lying on the floor, bleeding from a stab wound just inches below his right armpit, reports said. Several customers of the bar told police the man came into the bar asking for help after being stabbed on the sidewalk, reports said. The bar owner called 911 after he saw five men run from the scene, reports said. The stab victim, who was treated at the Jersey City Medical Center, told police he could not identify the persons who attacked him, reports said. CHARLES HACK
