Our row of houses was commenting on this last night too, so thanks for posting. I'll call the numbers posted above also.

Call the (DPW) Division of Traffic Enginering (201) 547-4470
And if that doesn't work call either your local councilman Fulop or our 3 councilpersons at-large.

Has anyone else's lives been completely disrupted by the two giant metal plates on Coles St? They were put down two or three days ago to cover a sinkhole, but they weren't secured AT ALL, so every time someone drives over them, the top one lifts and SLAMS back down, making an unbelievably loud crash.

Called JC Municipal Utilities yesterday to complain. I was told an inspector would come out and though they took down my number, obviously I have heard nothing back. Has anyone else called? Not only is it ruining my sleep (and making dogs bark constantly), it really doesn't look safe to drive over...someone's definitely going to have some damage done to their car.

Any other ideas for who I can complain to??
