Hi Everyone,
The Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy and the Hudson County Office of Cultural Affairs & Tourism continue Preservation Month 2010 with an exclusive tour of Jersey City?s beaux-arts masterpiece, the Justice William J. Brennan Courthouse. The tour will begin at 11:00 AM, this Saturday May 8 2010. The tour will be led by Bill LaRosa, Hudson County?s Director of Cultural Affairs. Highlights will include the magnificent lobby, rotunda, and courtrooms featuring the works of muralists Edwin H. Blashfield, Charles Yardley Turner, Kenyon Cox, and Howard Pyle. Meet in the Brennan Courthouse lobby, 575-583 Newark Avenue at Newark and Baldwin Avenues. The tour is FREE. Rain or Shine!
