16-year-old Jersey City boy robbed of cell phone by two masked teens, police say

A Jersey City boy was assaulted and robbed by two masked teenage boys near Lincoln High School around dismissal time Thursday, reports said.
The 16-year-old and a family member walked into the West District Police Station at 4:15 p.m. Thursday and told officers the boy was robbed 45 minutes earlier at Clinton and Madison avenues, reports said.
The victim told police he was grabbed from behind by one teen, who put him in a headlock, and that a second teen punched him in the stomach before taking his cell phone from his pants pocket, reports said.
The two robbers fled south on Madison toward Bramhall Avenue, reports said, adding that police searched the area with no luck.
