View Larger Map Jersey City man knocked unconscious in a fight, police say Monday, February 15, 2010 A 26-year-old man, whom police said was apparently drunk, was knocked unconscious in a fight in Downtown Jersey City early Sunday morning, police reports said. Police found the Hillside resident unconscious on the sidewalk near Washington Boulevard near Newport Parkway, reports said. On coming to, the man who appeared "very intoxicated," became belligerent with police saying that he had been attacked by a group of men, reports said. While being taken to Jersey City Medical Center in an ambulance to be treated for cuts and bruises, the man had to be restrained because of his aggressive behavior toward the medical technicians, police said.
