Man slashed in face Sat. on Greenville streetcorner

A Jersey City man said he was slashed in the face while standing on a Greenville corner late Saturday night, officials said.
At 11:20 p.m. police responded to Danforth and Old Bergen Road on a call of an aggravated assault and spoke to the 24-year-old Danforth Avenue victim who had a cut on the left side of his face, reports said.
The victim said he was standing at the intersection when he was approached by a man who slashed him with an unknown object before running away, reports said.
An ambulance responded from the Jersey City Medical Center but the victim refused medical attention, reports said.
