My children have attended Next Step Broadway for more than 5 years. My daughter adores the school; she loves being a part of the environment, loves her classes and has had an opportunity to develop her dance and acting skills in an environment where she is encouraged, but not beaten up. Amy has brought in new teachers over the years who have pushed the school to a new level. Even my son loves the acting class and has agreed to take his second dance class petitioning his friends to join him - I cried at last years show, glowing with pride and cannot wait for another stellar year.

Amy has a nice site and from the posts here, satisfied parents for her kid's classes as well as adults. However, all businesses are listed in the Business Directory, as for example the Cobra Fencing Club who also tried posting an ad as a topic and caused quite a stir with the webbie and other posters. When there is a specific event at the school then list on the calendar, but otherwise this should be moved to the Business Directory in fairness to the others in that Directory.

Good luck Amy!

Yes, Next Step Broadway is a great addition to JC. I think it's pretty cool that Amy and some of her teachers are or were Radio City Rockettes.

I was at the free Salsa class on Friday and left feeling like I could actually Salsa.

Amy is an outstanding teacher -- my daughter LOVED her ballet and musical theater classes. The recital last June -- where 80+ costumed kids performed in a huge, Broadway-style theater was unforgettable!

Next Step Broadway is a great addition to the neighborhood, and a wonderful opportunity for JC kids.

I second Linky.

She does a great job with the kids' classes. It is great that she is expanding to teach adults.

And she does a great job at it too! My daughter attends the school and loves it. And, yes, it is good for JC and for the kids who live here.
