BMW taken from owner at gunpoint

A 37-year-old Jersey City man's car was taken away from him at gunpoint yesterday when he reached his Morton Place home, reports said.

The victim was heading south on Morton Place, in the Greenville section, when he noticed a black Audi containing four men and a silver Nissan Altima with two men behind him at about 5:27 a.m., reports said.

When the victim pulled up in front of his home, one man each emerged from the Audi and the Altima, reports said. Both men had their faces partially covered by their T-shirts. The man who got out of the Audi pointed a handgun at the victim and ordered him to lay face down on the ground, reports said.

The two men then drove off with the victim's silver 2006 BMW X3, reports said.
