That's a bit tricky when you're already at the corner of Marin and 14th planning to turn left.

Surprise! Unannounced, random street closings are part of what makes living in JC exciting.

I was driving my once-a-week route towards essex county and was surprised to see that the left turn lane on Marin Blvd was blocked by cones. I made a quick (but illegal?) decision to turn into the gas station slowly drive around the pumps and then merge onto 14th street.

Now I have seen that at times Port Authority closes the southbound travel lanes on Marin Blvd at 14th street but I have never encountered this. Did anyone else see this at around 10am?
