Stabbed, she clings to life in hosp

A 28-year-old Jersey City woman is in critical condition after being found in her apartment Wednesday morning with two stab wounds, reports said.

Police were called to 522 Ocean Ave. at 9:38 am. on a report of a stabbing, reports said.

When police arrived, they found the victim bleeding and speaking incoherently on her bed, reports said.

She had stab wounds to her right hand and the left side of her chest and had difficulty breathing, report said.

In the ambulance on the way to the Jersey City Medical Center, the woman told paramedics she was stabbed by someone she had been fighting with, reports said.

She is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries and is unable to speak with investigators, police said.
