Last forum on bus service
Bus service survey ending Thursday, December 11, 2008 The last in a series of forums to provide residents with the opportunity to offer suggestions and to make comments about bus service in Jersey City will be held next Thursday, Mayor Jerramiah T. Healy and NJ Transit have announced. The upcoming open house, from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 156 Hancock Ave., will follow the same format as the first three held this fall. Participants will be interviewed individually about the community's bus service needs and any issues with existing bus service. The information collected will be reviewed by the study team and included in recommendations concerning current bus service in Jersey City. There will be no formal presentation. Residents wishing to comment also can call the Mayor's Action Bureau at (201) 547-5555. The Jersey City Bus Study is sponsored by Jersey City, Hudson County, the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority and NJ Transit. JOURNAL STAFF
