He's shot in chest during robbery
Friday, November 21, 2008 A man was shot in the chest at a Bergen Avenue fried chicken business Wednesday night and Jersey City police are looking for the gunman, reports said. The 29-year-old Jersey City victim - who was treated for a superficial wound to his upper chest at Jersey City Medical Center - told police he was at Goldy's Fried Chicken, at 670 Bergen Ave., at about 11:30 p.m., when a masked gunman entered the shop and said, "Everybody down on the floor," according to the report. The other customers fled, but as the victim turned to run he was shot in the chest, reports said. AMY SARA CLARK
