At 14 and already a criminal? great parenting there. I'm so sick of these menaces to society.

Jersey City police arrested two boys, ages 14 and 15, on robbery charges Monday night while doing surveillance at a Light Rail station that has been the site of several robberies, officials said.

The plainclothes officers at the Light Rail station at Westside and Claremont avenues spotted a group of four boys on bicycles and watched as they repeatedly crossed the street and followed people, reports said.

The officers followed them to Grant and Westside avenues, where they got off their bicycles and began following a 16-year-old Mallory Avenue boy, reports said.

They circled the victim in the West Side Avenue Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Station parking lot and then began going through his pockets, reports said.

Finally, the 14-year-old boy grabbed the victim's jacket and tried to pull it off him and police units converged on them as the two struggled over the jacket, reports said.

Police caught the two Sackett Street boys but the other two got away, reports said.
