Woman knifed in street brawl
Monday, October 20, 2008 Stabbed in her stomach and right arm during a street brawl, an 18-year-old woman was left bleeding on Monticello Avenue early Saturday, according to Jersey City police. The woman was rushed to the Jersey City Medical Center where she was in stable condition yesterday, according to a hospital spokesman. A witness told police the victim was part of a group of about five women who were on Brinkerhoff Avenue earlier when a group of women they previously fought with approached and started to fight again, reports said.
