Boy's bike taken by three teens
Jersey Journal Tuesday, July 01, 2008 A 12-year-old boy's mountain bike was taken in a robbery by three bullies Friday night, police reports said. The Culver Avenue resident said he was riding his bike in the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail parking lot on Mallory Avenue at 10:15 p.m. when three teens wearing white T-shirts approached him saying, "Give me your bike." One of them acted as though he had a weapon stashed in his pocket. The victim did not see a weapon, but he handed over his Mongoose mountain bike worth $110, reports said. CHARLES HACK
