"Police are searching for the landlord, reports said."

They have a choice. They can either wait until the first of the next month when he comes around to collect, or they turn over the nearest rock.

Tells cops landlord cut him with a razor

A bloody, shirtless Summit Avenue man told Jersey City police Thursday night he was assaulted by his landlord, reports said.

Police found the victim holding his blood-soaked shirt to the left side of his face around 8 p.m., reports said.

The victim told police his landlord cut him with a razor. The laceration stretched 6 inches, from the victim's left ear to his neck, according to police reports.

The victim was taken to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he was treated for his injuries, reports said.

Police are searching for the landlord, reports said.
