every year since those clocks were put up we've had this problem... they'll get around to it....someday lol

it's definitely no big deal, and I try to look at it as a charming quirk of downtown.

but really, those clocks are just 8-foot-tall monuments to the fact that JC can't get its sh*t together.

I can't believe that the clock is this big of a deal - I guess it is a good thing.

Hey, I wonder if we had let the Newark Avenue clock be left wrong maybe we could have fought parking meter tickets better.

It seems like they just changed them to "fall back" less than a month ago, so my guess would be at least middle of the summer before they "spring ahead"

Now that the clocks have finally fallen back an hour, anybody wanna place bets on when they'll spring forward?

Maybe they've commissioned a study to assess the feasibility and cost of resetting the clocks. And of course an off duty police officer will need to be there.

I say just leave em and they'll be correct again soon enough.

I mean, the parking authority would have to rezone grove street to let the parks dept get there to trim some trees and then the incinerator dept would have to come collect the limbs. Of couse that all depends on whose property the clocks are actually on becuase pse&g might or might not allow use of a ladder on them.

Its out of JCs budget to pay the guy with the ladder to adjust the clock, so you may have to wait 6 months or so before the clock is correct again.

Why are the clocks on Newark Ave. still an hour fast? It has been almost two weeks since we fell back and these clocks are still incorrect. It may not be the most pressing of issues but it seems like it would be one of the easiest to fix. Does anyone know whose responsibility this would be?
