Bergen Area: Man flees after snatching her purse
Monday, January 07, 2008 A woman told Jersey City police her purse was snatched yesterday morning, cops said. A 29-year-old Tuers Avenue resident said she was on Tuers near Vroom Street around 11:10 a.m. when a man pushed her from behind, grabbed her blue leather purse and fled. She said the purse contained $300 in cash, her passport and a couple of credit cards. CHARLES HACK
