this first site that came up when i typed 'Liberty State Park nj' into google.
http://www.libertystatepark.org/ right on the first page... Park Policies Barbecues are allowed. You must supply your own grills (charcoal, not propane). Alcoholic beverages of any sort are forbidden. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Solicitation is strictly prohibited. No balloons are allowed in the park Recreational sports are permitted.

There's another area next to the other, larger playground a little bit north on Freedom Way, but I believe you must use the grills provided, (I state this only because I have never seen anyone use their own.)

Does anyone know what the rules/regs are for grilling in LSP? I'm guessing it's strictly limited to the picnicing area on the south end of the park, but if anyone knows differently please share.... I have a portable grill that I'd like to use.
