Also look into Riverview Fisk park in the Heights. Not as pretty as LSP but nice NYC views for photos.

For Newport try contacting:
Fermin Garcia
121 Town Square Place
Jersey City, NJ 07310
(201) 626-4400 Office

He manages the Newport facility. There is a manicured garden on top of the garage connected with the Southhampton building with great views of the city.

Also try Liberty House Restaurant, they have an indoor and outdoor view.

I think you are referring to Grundy Park by Exchange Place. Try the Dept of Recreation. You could also try the Hyatt hotel beside it - they have a nice open area with City views.

Also, the nearby Iron Monkey has a nice rooftop that can probably be rented - though the City view isn't quite as good as it used to be.

I am recently engaged and searching for a reasonably priced venue with a view of NYC to host a short wedding ceremony. Liberty State would would have been ideal, but they don't allow weddings.

I am curious if anyone knows if Newport Green Park would allow a short ceremony on the "beach" area?

Does anyone know who to contact about the Exchange Place area near the water where the Irish Festival sometimes happens?

Also, does anyone know if the luxury rental buildings closer to the water have roof tops they might rent?

Any thoughts would be most welcome!
