Cops: Alleged drug dealer busted in Jersey City after hitting police cruiser

A suspected drug dealer was nabbed in Jersey City Tuesday night after he crashed his car in front of a police cruiser, then struck the police car, officials said.

The police car at a red light at Central and Jefferson avenues at about 10 p.m. when Angel E. Sanchez, 30, of Central Avenue, drove past the cops and crashed into a car in front of them, police said.

When the cops pursued, Sanchez turned onto Jefferson Avenue and smashed into a red Toyota station wagon and stopped, andwhen the officers walked up, Sanchez put the car in reverse and struck the police car and another Toyota station wagon, police said.

Cops found four small bags of suspected crack cocaine on the floor of the Honda, a small bag of suspected marijuana laced with PCP and $1,340 in cash, police said.
