Jersey City woman whacks victim with bat, then smashes windshield, cops say

A Jersey City woman was arrested Friday night after she allegedly slugged another woman with a baseball bat, police reports said.

Bianca Beckham, 20, of Astor Place, was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of weapon for unlawful purposes, and criminal mischief, reports said.

Called to an Astor Place residence at 10:20 p.m., cops met the 31-year old Summit Avenue victim who said she had argued with Beckham, reports said.

When the victim went to her car to leave, Beckham retrieved an aluminum baseball bat from her house and struck the victim, bruising her knee, reports said.

After the victim got into her car to dial 911, Beckham cracked her windshield with the bat, reports said.
