* The foot bridge between the two Waldo Avenues in the Island section.

* The defensive wall on the east side of the hilltop (Dickinson HS) built to defend old Jersey City. Much of the wall has been demolished in recent years but there are still remnants of steps and debris from the old wall.

* A. Harry Moore house on Pine Street. Being restored. Charming working class 1880's wood frame home.

* "The garages" on Waldo Avenue and Henry Street. Topside of the garages demolished to build homes in 1980. Basement and sub basement used as foundation. Originally used to store military equipment from WWI and II. 50 foot foundation wall can be seen from Harsimus Cemetary near the old crypts.

Gino's Pizzeria- the Heights (not sure if it can eb a landmark but gino's has been around for as long as i can remember, 20yrs)

I'm trying to compile a list of unofficial JC landmarks by neighborhood. Every neighborhood has a unique something, restaurant, bar or view of something that people grew up with that defined the neighborhood.

I also realize that many of these may no longer be around but I wondering if a few of the old timers can point some of these cherished places like Mosquito Park or the Park Tavern or Roosevelt Stadium.
