I opposed the bill, but get your facts straight-it was proposed by Democrat Prieto, and if you look at the yay/nay votes the supporters were overwhelmingly Democrat.

Dear Liberty State Park supporters,

Please try to attend our Saturday May 16 Noon to 2pm.
community family-friendly festive "picnic-in"protest to stand up for LSP as a free and green urban open space. There will be brief remarks at 1pm and media is invited to get our LSP message.

Bring your Own Picnic (BYOP) or please come to hang out and show support. DEP did search for large-scale privatization plans which would take away open space and restrict public access.

Let's make a strong community statement to Christie administration's privatizers about LSP's true purposes. (It's rain or shine with covered pavilion there.) Plans due to be revealed by the state in the summer.

Live Music featuring " Rockasorri" bringing their awesome family music and also surprise musicians for a folk rock experience! Also facepainters and we're working on getting a food truck. Please bring balls, frisbees, etc. Horseshoe pit too.
