I went to the festival and saw Twenty Million People, filmed right here in JC, written by and starring local people. Really liked it. The familiar locations added to the experience.

Watched the film Pearl on Sunday at the Loews in JSQ and it was FANTASTIC. I highly recommend it if it's still showing. www.pearlfilm.com

JC Golden Door Film festival has their finger on the Creative Pulse. The new Tribeca, it?s Fun, Sassy, Funky and located downtown JC. Love my neighborhood!!! Come one, come all film makers and let your voice be heard. KS I had a great time!

?It is amazing, bigger and better,? said festival organizer Bill Sorvino, who is an actor, a Jersey City native and the nephew of Paul Sorvino of ?Goodfellas? fame. ?The fest?s thrust is to give filmmakers and actors the same platform whether known or unknown. ?And really (the goal) is to have the most prominent film festival on this side of the Hudson and give Jersey City a shining jewel to beam back across to those big buildings over there.?
