Lautenberg staff on hand

Monday, March 30, 2009

Members of U.S. Sen. Frank Lautenberg's constituent services staff will be at the new County Plaza Building in Jersey City tomorrow, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help residents with federal issues and concerns, the senator's office announced yesterday.

The new County Plaza Building is at the old Block Drug building at 257 Cornelison Ave.

Lautenberg's staff will assist residents with questions or concerns with federal issues and agencies such as Social Security, the Internal Revenue Service, Immigration, Veterans Affairs and Medicare, officials said.

Also, informational brochures will be available on a wide variety of topics, including identity theft, consumer information, purchasing life insurance, Social Security, fighting fraud and food safety.
